The Lev Monthly — Rosh Chodesh Adar (Issue 15)
The month has been nonstop. From powerful learning in the beit midrash to unforgettable trips, special events, and moments of real personal growth, life in the yeshiva has been moving fast!
Instead of sending smaller updates along the way, we decided it was time to slow down and share everything properly. We're excited to introduce our new monthly newsletter, where we'll capture the highlights, the memories, and the moments that make Lev Aharon so special. This issue is a recap of everything you may have missed recently — and starting now, you can expect a fresh edition each month.
The Baba Sali hilulah, graciously sponsored by Mr. Isaac Cohen, was a full night of live music, delicious BBQ, dancing and stories with Rabbi Ezra Dayan. On the Shabbaton with the rabbis, each rabbi took a group out to a villa for a personal Shabbat with the boys. At the Tu B'Shvat party, graciously sponsored by Mr. Michael Sabbagh, each boy and rabbi made a beracha out loud while everyone else listened and answered amen.
Superbowl night in Lev was a full night of learning and finishing a mesechet — some learned the whole night and skipped the Superbowl, while others managed both. We rented a hall and catered the grand boys siyum with many great rabbis in attendance, and the Lev rabbis got together for a siyum haShas, each finishing a mesechet in memory of Rav Aharon Laniado on his yartzheit.
We are looking forward to keeping everyone updated on the new groundbreaking date. Unfortunately, due to the situation in Iran, we were not able to make it happen this past week, but everything has its time and place.
